The Islamic College of Melbourne is recognized as a quality co-educational institution within the local community and beyond. Additionally, the college is a registered training organization (RTO). Its vision is to uphold excellence in both academic and Islamic development, striving for continuous progress in nurturing a new generation of Muslims who are committed Australians. This generation will embrace Australian and global values, including care and compassion, striving for excellence, freedom, honesty and trustworthiness, integrity, respect, responsibility, openness, tolerance, and inclusion.

The college remains steadfast in its commitment to child safety and the prevention of child abuse by fostering an organisational culture and structure designed to address any concerns related to child protection. All staff, volunteers, and school members share the responsibility of ensuring children’s safety by adhering to the code of conduct, which outlines acceptable and unacceptable behavior concerning child safety and child abuse.

Firmly opposing any practice involving reportable conduct, the college continuously seeks to implement measures and strategies aimed at preventing such conduct and safeguarding the well-being of children in its care.
