Good morning and assalamualaikum students, teachers and staff. Today I will be talking about the grade 5 & 6 Futsal tournament.

Yesterday grade 5 students Fatima Haddara, Yasmin Wadhies, Nour Chehade, Jenean Taha and Muntaha El Kurdi along with grade 6 students Yasmine Haddara, Yasmine Al Nachar, Admira Ali, Ayah Kaddour and I went to Coburg to play against 9 different Islamic schools and proudly came back with the cup.

Out of 9 games we scored, believe it or not, 55 goals with Ayah Kaddour who was awarded the golden boot scoring a total of 29 goals in total, and conceded only 6 goals thanks to our excellent goal keeper Yasmine Wadhies! We were undefeated as a team on the day, quite a great achievement.

I would like to thank the PE teachers, especially Mr. Sirilas as we wouldn’t have made it this far if it wasn’t for his help and support. Overall everyone had a great time as a team and are ecstatic that we once again brought back the cup!
