2022 Anti-Bullying Day at ICOM

On Friday, 25th of March, we celebrated our annual Anti-Bullying Day at ICOM!

With most of our Primary students dressed in blue to show their unified stance on bullying, this event was incredibly successful with our Primary students all taking part in team-based games and book readings with the Principal, we had donuts and baked treats on sale at lunch time with all proceeds going to charity.

During weekly classes in the lead-up to Anti-Bullying Day our Primary students were preparing for this end-of-week event with Anti-Bullying workshops and incursions ran by our wonderful Primary Wellbeing team. By the time Friday arrived our Primary students truly understood why bullying is unacceptable, how harmful bullying can be and why coming together to help stamp out bullying is so important.

A special thank you to our amazing ICOM student-families who, through their enormous generosity and commitment have together generated a total of $3,369.25 which will be donated to Bully Zero, one of the leading organisations who help stamp out bullying in schools across Australia.

This financial goal was three times what we initially set out to raise, our fundraising efforts are inspiring and a reflection of the ICOM community. Thanks again to everyone for getting behind this great cause!
