Curriculum Overview

At Islamic College of Melbourne our standard Junior Secondary curriculum is based upon the Victorian Curriculum which is complemented by our dedicated teachers, the latest educational technology and up-to-date teaching resources.

Junior Secondary Students each have their own laptops and textbooks to assist with their studies and ensure that they all have an equal opportunity to learn and develop academically.

Secondary Accelerated Program (SAP)

The purpose of our SAP program is to stimulate, challenge and motivate our Junior Secondary students toward a higher level of thinking and achievement.

Junior Secondary students in this program will be immersed in a culture of high expectation and are offered extended course-work as part of a tailored curriculum focused around English, Mathematics, Humanities and Science.
