Our Tarneit Campus brings together a wide range of facilities that support learning, faith, wellbeing and student life. From Foundation classrooms and specialist subject areas to sporting facilities, faith-based spaces, student services and community venues, each area of the campus has been developed to serve a distinct purpose within the College.

Teaching & Learning Spaces

Teaching and learning spaces are located throughout the College, combining mainstream classrooms, breakout areas and technology-rich settings for students from Foundation to Year 12. Interactive displays, digital resources and flexible layouts ensure these spaces remain at the centre of daily learning across the campus.

Mainstream Classrooms

Classrooms across the College provide spacious settings for students at every year level. Flexible layouts, interactive technology and contemporary furnishings accommodate a broad range of subjects and teaching approaches.

Collaborative Learning

Breakout areas located alongside classrooms create additional space for group work, discussion and independent study. These areas extend beyond the traditional classroom while remaining closely connected to everyday learning.

Future-Ready Spaces

Interactive whiteboards are installed in every classroom and are complemented by iPads in Primary, dedicated IT laboratories, 3D printing technology and student laptops from Year 7.

Foundation Learning Wing

The Foundation Wing has been developed specifically for students in their first year of school. Comprising six Foundation classrooms, a shared indoor gathering space and private outdoor courtyards connected to each homeroom, the area provides a distinct setting for early years education.

Early Learning Homerooms

Six Foundation homerooms have been designed specifically for younger learners, creating welcoming classroom spaces where students begin their schooling within a setting tailored to early years education.

Foundation Indoor Event Space

Designed specifically for younger learners, the central gathering area provides a calm, welcoming space where Foundation students come together for presentations, incursions, activities and shared learning experiences.

Independent Foundation Gardens

Each Foundation classroom opens directly onto its own outdoor courtyard featuring gardens and vegetable patches, creating opportunities for exploration, discovery and hands-on experiences beyond the classroom.

Outdoor Leisure

Outdoor leisure areas are located throughout the College, providing students with places to play, socialise and enjoy time outdoors. Playgrounds, green spaces and recreation courts remain popular destinations during recess and lunchtime.

Spaces for Play

Playgrounds positioned across the campus provide younger students with spaces for active play, exploration and recreation during break times throughout the school day.

Downball & Four Square Courts

Popular recreation courts provide opportunities for friendly competition and remain among the most frequently used outdoor areas during recess and lunchtime.

Green Spaces

An expanse of shaded lawns, trees and open areas offer places for students to relax, socialise or enjoy a quieter break. During Ramadan, these areas are particularly valued as spaces for rest and reflection.

Sporting & Athletic Facilities

Sporting facilities extend across the campus and include multiple playing fields, the synthetic turf House Arena, indoor sporting facilities, a weights room, an indoor climbing wall and dedicated table tennis facilities. Together, these facilities support physical education, recreation and training throughout the year.

Indoor Sports & Recreation

Indoor sporting facilities accommodate basketball, badminton, futsal and physical education activities within an all-weather venue used throughout the year. The space also includes an indoor climbing wall and extensive table tennis facilities.

Outdoor Sporting Grounds

Multiple outdoor sporting fields support physical education classes, training sessions and recreational activities. The House Arena features a large synthetic turf surface capable of hosting several activities simultaneously.

Strength & Conditioning

A dedicated weights room provides students with access to supervised fitness and strength training. The facility supports physical development across a range of year levels, sporting programs and physical education activities.

Specialist Study Areas

Specialist study areas provide access to facilities tailored to practical, creative and investigative subjects. Science laboratories, visual arts spaces and food technology facilities allow students to engage with learning beyond the traditional classroom.

Visual Arts Studio

The Visual Arts Studio provides a dedicated space for painting, printmaking, branding and graphic design, supporting creative exploration across a range of artistic disciplines.

Food Technology

Located within ICOM House, this facility features a commercial-style kitchen, spacious preparation areas and a walk-in pantry used for food studies, hospitality programs and practical skill development.

Science & Chemistry Labs

Science laboratories support practical investigation from Primary through to Secondary years, giving students access to spaces equipped for experimentation, observation and scientific inquiry.

Faith-based Facilities

Faith-based facilities are integrated throughout the campus and reflect the Islamic identity of the College. Arabic and Quranic learning spaces, campus-wide wudu facilities and the ILEAD Diploma Room ensure faith remains connected to daily life at school.

Junior Primary Arabic Room

The Junior Primary Arabic Room provides a dedicated environment where younger students begin developing their Arabic language skills through engaging, age-appropriate lessons.

Senior Primary Arabic Room

The Senior Primary Arabic Room supports students as they continue developing their Arabic language proficiency, strengthening their reading, writing, speaking and comprehension skills.

QAP Room

The Quran Accelerated Program (QAP) Room provides a dedicated space where selected students receive additional Quran instruction, supporting the development of recitation, memorisation and deeper understanding.

Ablution areas

Indoor and outdoor wudu and ablution areas are conveniently located across the campus, ensuring students have access to suitable preparation areas before prayer.

ILEAD Diploma Room

The ILEAD Diploma Room features a Qur'anic library, minbar and integrated wudu facilities, creating a specialised setting for students undertaking the Diploma of Islamic Leadership.

Minbar

The Minbar provides an authentic setting where students develop the confidence and practical skills to deliver khutbahs, speeches and presentations as part of their Islamic leadership development.

ICOM Library & Resource Centre

Completed in 2022 and situated above the cafeteria, the Library & Resource Centre serves both Primary and Secondary students within a spacious, light-filled setting. Reading areas, presentation spaces, senior study rooms and dedicated library services are brought together within a single facility.

Primary & Secondary Library Services

Dedicated Primary and Secondary library teams manage collections, research resources and learning materials tailored to students at different stages of their education.

Learning & Presentation Spaces

A stage area and flexible open spaces accommodate presentations, workshops, incursions, guest authors and educational activities, allowing the library to host a wide range of events.

Standalone Study Spaces

Two senior study rooms, one for boys and one for girls, accommodate up to 12 students each and provide dedicated areas for independent study and assessment preparation.

Administration & Wellness Building

Completed in 2026, the Administration & Wellness Building brings together reception, student services, wellbeing facilities and health support services under one roof. The building serves as a central point of contact for students, families and visitors while supporting the day-to-day operations of the College.

Centralised Administration & Reception

Reception and administrative services provide support for students, families and visitors while managing enrolments, enquiries and daily College operations.

Student Wellbeing

Private wellbeing spaces accommodate counselling, student services and pastoral care programs, providing students with access to guidance and support in a professional setting.

College Sick Bay

The College Sick Bay provides a dedicated health and first aid area where students can receive care and supervision when unwell during the school day. The facility is staffed by three fully qualified nurses, ensuring students receive prompt and professional care when needed.

Student Life & Community

A range of facilities support events, performances and services beyond the classroom. From major College gatherings to drama activities and outside school hours care, these spaces contribute to daily life across the campus.

Grand Briefing Room

Accommodating up to 400 people, the Grand Briefing Room features an extendable layout, professional audiovisual technology, a stage area and an adjoining kitchen for major College events.

Dedicated Drama Space

This flexible performance space supports acting, rehearsals, presentations and drama activities, providing students with a venue for creative and performing arts programs.

Before & After School Care

Delivered on-site by Extend, the College's Outside School Hours Care service provides supervised care before and after school for families requiring additional flexibility during the week.
