As an IB World School, ICOM offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) for Years 11 and 12.
This two-year pre-university qualification challenges students to think critically, communicate effectively and engage with the world through inquiry and reflection — while remaining grounded in faith, ethics and community.

Program Overview
The IB Diploma Programme was established to provide a consistent, internationally benchmarked curriculum that prepares students for university and life as principled global citizens. ICOM students study six subjects across key academic disciplines while completing the Core — three experiences that shape both intellectual and personal growth.
Theory of Knowledge (TOK) — Critical reflection on the nature of knowledge and how we know what we know.
Extended Essay (EE) — An independent 4,000-word research project developed over the two-year programme.
Creativity, Activity & Service (CAS) — Community engagement, physical activity and creative pursuits that develop the whole student.

Students are assessed through internal assignments and external examinations, moderated to ensure consistent standards worldwide.
Each subject is graded on a scale of 1–7, with up to 3 additional points available from the Core.
The maximum Diploma score is 45 — a benchmark recognised by universities across Australia and internationally.
