Islamic Leadership & Integrated Arabic Studies (ILIAS)
A foundation in faith, language and leadership.
ILIAS is an elective program offered from Year 9, designed for students with a passion for Arabic language and Islamic learning. Combining advanced Arabic studies with applied faith education and leadership development, the program nurtures confident, service-minded young Muslims ready to contribute meaningfully to their community.

Program Overview
ILIAS is designed for students with genuine interest in deepening their Arabic language skills and Islamic knowledge. Over two years in the Middle Years, students engage in advanced Arabic communication, leadership workshops and Islamic scholarship — building the mindset and skills needed for community and spiritual leadership.
The program is challenging, purposeful and deeply rewarding for the students who pursue it.

Aqeedah, Seerah, Islamic ethics, community service and spiritual leadership.

Student Life & Experiences
ILIAS students experience a program that extends well beyond the classroom. Through the ILIAS Camp, guest speakers from the community, service initiatives and mosque visits, students build real-world connections and a deeper sense of purpose.
The program fosters a genuine community among participants — a group united by shared values, growing together.
Accreditation & Outcomes
Students who complete the ILIAS program receive the nationally accredited 10949NAT Certificate II in Applied Language (Arabic). This qualification forms the foundation of the I-LEAD Diploma of Islamic Leadership (22628VIC) offered in Years 10–12.
ILIAS graduates enter I-LEAD with advanced Arabic skills, a strong grounding in Islamic scholarship and the leadership foundations needed to excel in the Diploma.
